What started as one family's business in 1977 has grown into a team that oil & gas sites count on, day in, day out. Nearly five decades on, the way we work hasn't changed much: we listen first, we keep our word, and we treat every client's site as if it were our own. Our people are the heart of it, from the crews in coveralls to the staff behind the scenes. Whether a client needs a full workforce for a major shutdown or a single specialist at short notice, we aim to make the job easier, safer and more reliable.

Pemborong Maju Bersatu began in 1977 as a family business in Labuan. It grew through hard work, dedication and a commitment to the values that still guide the company today. In 1995 we incorporated as Pemborong Maju Bersatu Sdn Bhd to take on larger work, while staying true to those founding principles.

Today, most of our work is in the oil & gas sector across Sabah and Labuan, supporting clients both onshore and offshore. Every crew we send out carries our name, so we make sure they're trained, prepared and ready for the job. It's a simple standard, and it's the one our clients have come to rely on.

Our commitment to quality

Quality isn't something we just talk about. It's something we check, every day. In 2023 we earned our ISO 9001:2015 certification, and getting there meant opening up every part of how we work: audits inside and out, training for the whole team, and a close look at each process until it met the standard.

But the certificate was never the finish line. It gives us a clear way to measure what we do, spot what could be better and fix it. For our clients, that means fewer surprises and a service that keeps improving, year after year.
